Clever Modern is a fantastic new business, based in Phoenix with products available to buy on Amazon.com, and I loved photographing their stylish kitchen products! When Tyler of Clever Modern reached out to me about shooting his company’s modern kitchen accessories, I was so excited! I’m obsessed with all the kitchen things…dishes, cooking ware and pretty kitchen accessories, so this shoot was basically a dream come true for me!
The Clever Modern products that needed to be photographed were banana hangers and a mug tree. I love the clean lines and modern style of each of these products. I especially love the way that the elegant curves of the banana hangers perfectly mimic the curve of a banana, and I’m so impressed by the space-saving functionality of the mug tree–not only can it hold 8 mugs, it also has a place to set a teapot on the top!
As an e-commerce product photographer, when I was told that the products would be sold on Amazon, I understood that it was important to photograph the products alone on a white background, as well as with props on a white background. Lifestyle photos with a model showing the product in use were important to capture as well, both for Amazon product images as well as for Clever Modern to use on their social media and website. We utilized the kitchen of a recently renovated historic home in downtown Gilbert for the lifestyle images, and the charm of this beautiful kitchen fit the Clever Modern brand so well!
