Remote Product Photographer

As a remote product photographer, sometimes I work with local clients. However, I also work with many remote clients. These remote clients often ship me products and coordinate remotely with me to plan a shot list and other shoot details. Depending on the clients’ specifications, sometimes I also send them sneak peeks of how the photos are looking during the shoot. Sometimes I send my client contact some quick cell phone shots of a particular setup. The client can review how things look and give their approval or suggest changes they want me to make during the shoot. After shooting the product photos, I ship the products back to the clients.
When I lived in Arizona, the Giving Bracelets store in Scottsdale was a regular brand photography client of mine. After my move, they became one of my remote clients who ship me products to shoot. Giving Bracelets makes lots of beautifully crafted leather goods. In this shoot I photographed some of their newer products, handmade leather dog collars. As stated in the product description, “made with high quality vegetable tanned leather thats both durable and comfortable, these collars are soft against the skin and reliably strong. They feature hand stitched detailing and solid brass buckles with a D-ring for attaching tags and leashes.” These dog collars are beautiful and I really enjoyed photographing them!
