Cache Valley Small Business Photographer
The best part about being a Cache Valley small business photographer is all the great people I get to meet! It is so rewarding to be introduced to many hardworking, kind and honest small business owners here in my hometown. I really enjoy getting to know the small businesses that employ and serve my friends and neighbors in Cache Valley. It is so interesting to learn about how these businesses began and why the owners are passionate about them. Leavitt Automotive is one of those great local businesses with an inspiring start-up story. However, the request to photograph the Leavitt Automotive team didn’t come from Cache Valley. Instead, I was contacted by Ratchet+Wrench magazine who were planning to write a feature story about Leavitt Automotive. Ratchet+Wrench found me when searching for a Cache Valley small business photographer who they could contract to take photos for the article.
This brings me to an exciting photography milestone: the first time one of my photos has appeared on the cover of a magazine! I’m thrilled that my photo of Travis Leavitt, the founder of Leavitt Automotive, was featured on the cover of Ratchet+Wrench. It truly feels surreal to see a photo that I took on a magazine cover! The article inside shares the inspiring story of how Travis’s dream of owning his own automotive shop led him to start Leavitt Automotive after losing his job. With a lot of sacrifice, grit and determination, he joined the ranks of shop owners who went from zero to seven figures. I really enjoyed meeting Travis and his team members at Leavitt Automotive when I came to take photos for Ratchet+Wrench. They were so kind and welcoming and I enjoyed seeing the camaraderie they have together as a team.
