Though I’m now a Logan photographer, I still have so many photo sessions to blog from my time in Phoenix! Today I’m sharing product images that I created for Cooler Shock. Cooler Shock, a company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, sells cold packs for coolers. Founder Chris Aliberti invented the cold packs which contain a substance that stays several degrees colder than ice. Cooler Shock packs keep food and beverages cold for a much longer time than a traditional ice pack.
Product and Lifestyle Images for E-Commerce
Cooler Shock sells their products on both their own e-commerce website and Amazon. They requested product and lifestyle images that could be used on both of those platforms as well as social media. Photos of multiple views of each of the products on a white background were a must. Styled situations demonstrating different uses of the products were also vital, like keeping food cold during a camping or hunting trip, or keeping drinks cold when you go on a picnic. Julianna, Chris’s daughter, works for the Cooler Shock family business, and she coordinated the photoshoot from the company’s end of things.
Behind the Scenes
Rather than hiring models, Julianna volunteered herself and her boyfriend to model for the lifestyle portion of this photo shoot, and they both did a fantastic job in their modeling debuts! Due to the time and location restraints we had to work with, we used a public park as our lifestyle location and did our best with props and clothing to put over the idea of going camping, on a picnic, and hunting even though we couldn’t go out to the wilderness, and I think it worked out really well. I loved working with this awesome local family owned business during my time living in Arizona, and I can’t wait to photograph products for Logan family owned businesses here in my new location.
