As a Logan Utah senior photographer I enjoy having the opportunity to capture the momentous graduation milestone in any teenager’s life. Excitement fills the air when seniors prepare to graduate from high school and begin their adult life. Today I’m sharing a senior session of a young man named Nathan. I have had the pleasure of taking photos of Nathan and his siblings several times over the past few years. Nathan recently graduated from high school. He will be attending Utah State University when he begins his college education. For this reason, we chose to use the beautiful USU campus as our location for his senior photo shoot. We captured some casual photos as well as formal graduation photos of Nathan wearing his cap and gown. We also made sure to get a few photos of Nathan in his cap and gown with the famous Aggie “A” at the top of the Old Main building in the background as a nod to Nathan’s future as a USU Aggie incoming freshman this fall.
USU Campus and Old Main
Utah State University is a wonderful location for any Logan Utah senior photographer to use. It offers so much variety in different background looks that can be obtained while shooting around the campus. The Old Main building offers beautiful historic architecture. Nearby, the amphitheater area offers a more modern, contemporary look with its cement stairs. Lovely greenery and views of Cache Valley can be found while exploring the Old Main Hill area. Because of Nathan’s affinity for parkour and doing trick flips, he has a tradition of getting a picture of himself doing a flip whenever he has a photo session. So at his request, we ended the photo session with capturing Nathan doing a backflip off of the famous Aggie “A” statue where the campus tradition of becoming a true Aggie by kissing someone on the “A” at midnight during a full moon is held.
