NICU Family & Newborn Session | Thellmann Family

The Thellmanns are such a strong, inspiring family.  Their sweet baby was born several weeks premature, so he is staying in the NICU right now.  It can’t be easy as parents to see your baby hooked up to tubes and machines, and to not know when you’ll be able to bring your baby home.  But Melissa and Cory deal with the stress and uncertainty with so much faith and grace.  And fortunately baby M is a strong little guy and doing so well–it’s clear to see he is very loved!  Melissa wanted to get some photos of their family, including big brother J, to document this season of their life.  It was a special experience for me to be in the NICU and feel such tangible love in that place, as well as witness the tender concern of family, nurses, and doctors caring for those precious infants.  I love that even though I’m sure they wouldn’t have chosen for their baby to be in this situation, the Thellmanns are making the best of it and facing the future with courage and faith.
