Product Design Photographer

In my work as a product design photographer, it excites me to get a first glimpse of brand new prototypes! I really enjoy seeing the innovative products that my clients create. It’s such a pleasure to serve my product designer clients with photos that show off their prototypes’ best features. The designer shares the photos with their brand client so that they see the progress of the prototype. The brand then gives their approval on the prototype, makes requests of changes, etc. High quality prototype photos matter a lot to the product designer. They want the prototype to be captured clearly with good lighting and sharp details. It’s important to take photos from multiple angles of the product, showing the outside, inside, pockets open and closed.
I took these product prototype photos for Whitney, the product designer who created these bags. The duffel bag and computer bag were designed for the Lemhi Bison Bag Collection for the Bison Boys brand. They are meticulously crafted, rugged bags that blend style with durability. The bags are made with bison leather and waxed canvas. They’re exactly the type of bags my husband would absolutely love–he’s a hunter! I was so impressed by all the thoughtful touches that Whitney incorporated into the design of these bags. For example, the lining fabric design is based on a topographical map of the Lemhi ranches. I really enjoyed photographing these bags for Whitney! I think she did a phenomenal job designing products that fit the style of the brand so well.
