Gilbert Wedding Photographer| Simple Backyard Wedding
Recently a friend of mine reached out and asked me to photograph her father-in-law’s backyard wedding ceremony. This was my first time ever being a lead wedding photographer, and it was such a great experience! I loved that Ben and Debbie’s simple backyard wedding was so focused on the most important part of any wedding: the promises they were making to each other. The wedding wasn’t a huge, extravagant production, but a casual celebration with their closest friends and family. Shooting this wedding provided some fun and different challenges & opportunities for me to practice with, like photographing during the middle of the day with harsh sunlight, and taking pictures of more little details than I usually do, like the wedding rings. It was such an honor to meet Ben and Debbie and witness the deep love they have for each other and the pure joy they felt at becoming husband and wife! These are some of my favorite photos that tell the story of their day!
